Our family’s dreams took root in the basalt sands found in Melba, Idaho. Our vineyard flourishes amidst the challenging high desert conditions. This rocky, lava-rich soil has become our greatest asset, enabling us to craft wines showcasing the uniqueness of Idaho.

What Makes Our Wine Unique?

100% estate grown, our wines are crafted to showcase the uniqueness of the Snake River AVA’s terroir. The high elevation combined with abundant sunshine and cool nights creates a perfect microclimate to produce exceptional, well-balance wines.

Basalt Sands of Melba

The soils of Rock Spur are basalt sands and gravels carried by the Bonneville Flood and deposited in a lee shadow of an ancient volcano known as White Butte. This lava-rich soil has become our greatest asset.

Distinct Micro-Climate

The high desert of Idaho provides us with hot days and cool nights ensuring ripeness yet preserving the flavors and aromas of our distinct terroir.
